2025-05-26 — chinese dragon first test flight without head 26.05.25 — Attempt to make a Chinese dragon by tiny drone as head. PID of quad had been lowered to allow flight. Material for body: Mylar from emergency blanket. 0.5mm Carbon for rings. Flight controller: x12 Motor: 4x 0805 brushless motor 10000kv Propeller: 2.5“ biblade Battery: 450mah 2s lipo
2025-07-16 — dragon of the pond - test flight with head 16.07.25 — added a simple head to complete the dragon and changed attachment of drone to body. the new system better avoids propellers touching the body and correct articulation in curves. also the PID has been optimized but may need further consideration. current PID uses only P term and no integral or derivative, because the body and head are acting as stabilization already. material of head and body: mylar from emergency blanket flightcontroller : happymodel x12 aio propeller: 2.5inch biblade motors: 4x 0805 10000kv brushless motor
