  • 2022-07-07Crescent edf turbine jet with wing morphing, star tail stabilization system and decals — Remake of the model using super board and finished-off with some decals. Wing morph demonstration of new experimental aircraft design with crescent moon wing shape. The airfoil used is symmetric, but inner section may be fused even a bit more. Lift and vectoring thrust is fused very well in this design. Lift is controlled by morphing airfoil by one servo in wing, actuating on Ailerons also moves the Elevon wing tips adversively, in a way that rudder is controlled by drag of negative lift airfoil and turning becomes efficient by thrust vectoring in right direction, the opposing wing has minimum drag in direction of turn and maximum lift in direction of the outbound curve, and a downwards wingtip which vectors lift into thrust to assist rudder function. By star tail drag is added that stabilizes movement in any dimension of movement pitch/roll/yaw.
